Your Mafia Island tour begins with your journey from Dar es Salaam to Mafia Island. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your selected accommodation.

After check-in, enjoy some time to relax and settle into the peaceful island atmosphere. Depending on your arrival time, you can take a walk around the surrounding area, relax on the beach or enjoy the beautiful Indian Ocean sunset.

After breakfast, begin your full-day Mafia Island Marine Park adventure. Board your boat and head into the marine park, an area known for its coral reefs, marine life and beautiful coastal waters.

Enjoy a guided snorkeling experience where you can discover colorful coral formations and tropical marine life beneath the Indian Ocean. Continue to a beautiful Mafia Island sandbank, where you can swim, relax, take photographs and enjoy the spectacular surroundings.

After your marine adventure, enjoy lunch before returning to the island. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the beach or at your accommodation.

After breakfast, take a boat to Chole Island, one of the fascinating islands within the Mafia archipelago. Explore the island with a local guide and discover its traditional Swahili coastal lifestyle, historical remains and unique island environment.

Your experience may include the Chole Island village, historical sites and ruins, a local community experience, Swahili coastal culture, traditional island life, nature and island walks, and a boat excursion around the island.

After the cultural experience, return to Mafia Island and spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the beach, swimming or simply relaxing.

Enjoy your final morning on Mafia Island. After breakfast, have some free time to relax and enjoy the beach before checking out.

You will then be transferred to Mafia Airport for your flight back to Dar es Salaam, ending your island, marine and cultural adventure on Tanzania's beautiful Swahili Coast.
