Day 1 Arrival in Kilimanjaro – Transfer to Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by a professional representative from Msonge Tours & Safaris. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel in Moshi, a lively town resting at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The remainder of the day is spent at leisure, allowing you to relax after your flight, acclimatize, and prepare for the upcoming marathon. If time allows, you may explore Moshi town or simply enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2 Kilimanjaro Marathon 2026 – Moshi

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kilimanjaro Marathon starting point. Today you take part in one of Africa’s most famous running events, choosing between the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, or Fun Run.

The race takes you through scenic routes around Moshi with Mount Kilimanjaro as a dramatic backdrop. After crossing the finish line, celebrate your achievement, receive your medal, and enjoy the lively post-race atmosphere.

In the afternoon, return to your hotel to rest, recover, or enjoy optional wellness activities.

Day 3 Moshi – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast, depart Moshi and drive to Arusha, where your safari adventure officially begins. Continue toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant populations.

Upon entering the park, enjoy a game drive as you explore the Tarangire River ecosystem, a vital water source that attracts wildlife year-round. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species.

Day 6 Full Day Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Serengeti National Park. After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive when predators are most active.

Spend the day tracking wildlife across different regions of the park, depending on seasonal movements. Witness dramatic predator-prey interactions and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. A picnic lunch is served inside the park, allowing uninterrupted wildlife viewing.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy another game drive before returning to camp.

Day 7Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders.

Day 8Karatu – Arusha – Departure
