Day 1 Dar es Salaam / Morogoro – Mikumi National Park
Transfer & Half-Day Game Drive

Pick up from your hotel or agreed meeting point and depart towards Mikumi National Park, enjoying views of local villages and countryside.

Arrival in Mikumi area for lunch and short rest.
14:00 – 18:00
Half-day game drive inside Mikumi National Park. Explore the open savannahs where wildlife is easily spotted, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, lions, and hippos. Afternoon light provides excellent photography opportunities.
Evening
Drive to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Mikumi National Park – Maasai Boma Visit
Morning Game Drive & Cultural Experience

Early morning game drive when animals are most active. Watch predators returning from night hunts and herds moving across the plains.
10:00 – 11:00
Breakfast at the lodge and short rest.
11:30 – 13:00
Visit a nearby Maasai Boma to experience traditional Maasai lifestyle, customs, dances, and daily activities. This cultural interaction offers insight into one of Tanzania’s most iconic tribes.

Depart Mikumi and drive towards Udzungwa Mountains National Park, passing fertile valleys, farms, and scenic landscapes. Lunch is taken en route or upon arrival.

Day 4Udzungwa – Ruaha National Park

Drive from Udzungwa to Ruaha National Park, entering Tanzania’s largest and most remote park. Lunch is taken en route.
14:30 – 18:00
Half-day game drive in Ruaha National Park, focusing on the Great Ruaha River area. Expect sightings of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, lions, and diverse birdlife in a dramatic wilderness setting.

Day 5Ruaha National Park – Dar es Salaam
