Your private honeymoon begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Travel through northern Tanzania as the urban landscape gradually gives way to rural communities, open countryside and eventually the distinctive scenery of Tarangire.

Enter Tarangire National Park and begin your first game drive together. The park is famous for its elephants and giant baobab trees, while its varied habitats support giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes, monkeys and numerous bird species. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, your guide may also locate predators such as lions.

Because the safari is private, the day can be shaped around your interests and the conditions encountered in the park. As the afternoon light becomes softer, enjoy an optional sundowner experience before continuing to your accommodation. Today is dedicated to the Serengeti. With no need to accommodate other travelers, you can enjoy a full private safari experience with your guide.

The Serengeti is home to large populations of herbivores and predators, with wildlife movements changing according to season, rainfall and location. Depending on where you are staying and the conditions of the day, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hyenas and, with luck, leopards.

Your guide will use local knowledge and current wildlife movements to determine where to explore. A bush breakfast, picnic experience or sunset stop can be incorporated where permitted and appropriate.

Return to your accommodation after the day's exploration. Tonight, the Serengeti provides the backdrop for another memorable evening together.
